Turkish Baklava

Baklava is a tasty, rich, sweet pastry made of layers of filo dough filled with chopped nuts and caramelized together with honey.

Originating in Turkey and the Ottoman Empire, it easily spread around the Mediterranean and all the way to England.

It is best made in large trays as labor is demanding to carefully layer the delicate filo to achieve the amazing flakiness.

We handmade make 5 different types of baklava from scratch, not refrigerated or frozen like most restaurants.
